ESSAY COACHING



A quick note: Because of the publicity about Acceptance, several parents have asked if I’d work as a consultant for students’ college essays.

The short answer: Not now, but I can recommend some excellent writing coaches for high school kids.

The long answer: Yes, someday – if the newspaper industry implodes and I change my career, I’ll go back to teaching and tutoring, which I love. And if that day arrives, I will coach students about lean, powerful writing.

But – and this is important – I will not write essays for them.
